Regression hypnotherapy guide
Do I stay in control during hypnosis?
Yes. Ethical hypnotherapy should help you feel safer with yourself, not make you feel controlled by someone else.
You remain aware, able to speak, able to move, and able to pause or stop at any point. Regression hypnotherapy is collaborative: you follow your own inner material, and the session moves at a pace your system can handle, so confidence in the process can build rather than be forced.
What control actually looks like
During a session you can hear me, respond verbally, adjust your position, open your eyes, ask to slow down or stop. I do not tell you what to remember or what your experience means. Your participation and consent are active throughout.
Common fears
These worries are normal before a first session.
Will I reveal secrets?
No. You choose what to share, just as in any conversation.
Can I get stuck?
No. Hypnosis is a natural focused state, not a trap or unconscious sleep.
Can I reject suggestions?
Yes. Anything that feels wrong or unsafe will not be accepted by you.
Maria's approach
Sessions are non-directive and client-led. The work follows your own inner responses rather than a script, and safety is more important than intensity.
Frequently asked questions
No. Ethical hypnotherapy cannot override your will, values or consent.
Yes. You can pause, speak, open your eyes or stop at any point.
Most people remember the session clearly, though small details can fade like a dream or deep conversation.
