Ethics and safety
Ethics and safety in online regression hypnotherapy
Personal inner work should feel clear, boundaried and respectful — especially when it touches memories, emotions, past life regression or vulnerable patterns.
Trust is part of the work. Sessions are held gently, confidentially and with active consent, so you can feel safer exploring emotional patterns, past life regression or vulnerable material without being pushed toward memories, beliefs or guaranteed outcomes.
The principles behind every session
I work in a client-led way. You remain aware and involved, you can pause or stop, and the session follows what feels safe and appropriate. I do not diagnose, prescribe, make guaranteed outcome claims, advise you to stop medical treatment, or present regression hypnotherapy as a replacement for qualified clinical care.
My commitments
These principles shape every online regression hypnotherapy session with Maria.
Confidentiality
Your personal material is treated with care and privacy.
Consent
Consent is active throughout the session, not a one-off permission at the start.
Non-leading guidance
I ask open questions and do not plant memories, images or meanings.
Pacing
We slow down, ground or stop if something feels too much.
Clear scope
This is complementary wellbeing work, not medical or psychological treatment.
When this may not be suitable
Regression hypnotherapy may not be the right first step if you are in acute crisis, feel at risk of harming yourself or someone else, are currently under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have active psychosis, severe dissociation, or need urgent clinical support. In those cases, please contact emergency services, NHS 111, your GP, a crisis service or a qualified mental-health professional.
