About Maria
About Maria Terletska, Regression Hypnotherapist
I offer gentle, non directive regression hypnotherapy online from Liverpool, working with adults across the UK and internationally in English, Ukrainian and Russian. My role is not to tell you what you should experience or what it must mean. I guide the process, follow what emerges for you and help you explore it without judgement or pressure. You remain aware and involved throughout the session and can ask questions, pause, change direction or stop at any time.
A little about my work
A few factual details about my practice, training and availability.
Liverpool-based, working online
I am based in Liverpool and conduct sessions online with clients in the UK and internationally.
Adults aged 18 and over
I currently work exclusively with adults and do not offer regression hypnotherapy to children or young people.
Three working languages
Full sessions are available in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Practitioner training completed
I completed my practitioner training in Regression Hypnosis on 6 August 2025.
More than 70 sessions
As of August 2026, I have conducted more than 70 regression hypnosis sessions, including supervised practice and private client work.
Why I came to regression hypnotherapy
I first encountered regression hypnotherapy as a client. I was looking for help with something that had affected me for more than fifteen years, and the experience changed the way I understood emotional healing.
What stayed with me was not only the session itself, but how gentle and personal the process could be. It offered me a different way to explore the emotional roots of something I had carried for a long time. Afterwards, I became interested in self hypnosis and in how the mind responds in a relaxed, focused state.
That curiosity gradually led me to professional training. I wanted to offer other people the same qualities that mattered to me as a client: care, patience, respect and enough space to have their own experience without being pushed towards somebody else's interpretation.

How I work
My approach is individual, multilingual and guided by the client’s own experience.
Gentle and non-directive
I do not use a rigid script or try to make every client fit the same process. We begin by talking about what brought you here, what you would like to explore and any questions or concerns you may have. From there, I adapt the session to you and follow what genuinely emerges.
People may experience childhood memories, emotions, bodily sensations, symbolic imagery, recurring patterns, inner child material, past life narratives or other inner experiences. I do not tell you what should appear, and I do not claim that one interpretation is objectively true.
Some people understand past life material literally, while others experience it symbolically. My role is to help you explore what the experience means to you now.
You do not have to believe in past lives, be highly suggestible or know exactly what you want to experience. Curiosity is enough.
Listening across languages
Working in English, Ukrainian and Russian has made me especially attentive to the way emotion can shift with language. A childhood memory may return in the language in which it was lived, while another feeling may be easier to express in the language someone uses every day.
I listen not only to the words a person chooses, but also to pauses, tone and the personal meaning behind them. You can choose the language in which you feel most comfortable expressing yourself. The aim is not perfect translation. It is to give you room to explore in the language that feels most natural and authentic.
Care before, during and after the session
Before we begin, I explain the process and make space for questions. During regression, you remain involved and can speak, pause or stop. If something becomes uncomfortable or too intense, we slow down, ground or change direction rather than forcing the process.
Afterwards, we take time to reflect on and integrate what arose. A session is not judged by how dramatic it felt. Sometimes a new perspective feels important immediately. Sometimes understanding develops gradually over the following days.
My training and professional status
Clear information matters when you are deciding who to trust with personal experiences.
Practitioner training
My certificate confirms that I completed practitioner training in Regression Hypnosis, including the "Quantum Healing of the Past" method. The private practitioner programme was delivered in Ukrainian by Ukrainian regression hypnotherapist Tetiana Khlevnaya while I was based in the UK. I completed the training on 6 August 2025.
The programme ran for approximately four months, with two live classes each week and a substantial practical component. It covered:
- Regression hypnosis and hypnotic induction
- Consultation, intention setting and practitioner boundaries
- The different ways people may experience regression
- Resistance and protective responses
- Childhood regression, prenatal experiences and inner child work
- Recurring patterns, family dynamics and belief change
- Emotional processing, grounding and future progression
- Symbolic, spiritual, past life and transpersonal approaches
During the programme, I conducted more than 30 practice sessions with fellow trainees and experienced more than 20 regression sessions as a client. The final practical assessment involved conducting a complete session with a paying client I had not previously worked with, under my trainer's supervision.
The programme did not provide an official total number of training hours, so I do not publish an estimated figure. I am happy to provide a copy of my training certificate on request.
Experience and ongoing development
I have practised regression hypnosis since 2025. As of August 2026, I have conducted more than 70 sessions in total, including supervised practice and private client work.
I continue to develop my knowledge through independent study, professional reading and research. I remain in contact with my trainer and am part of an alumni practitioner community where professional questions can be discussed while protecting client confidentiality.
I do not currently receive formal scheduled professional supervision, and I am not currently a member of a UK professional register. My training is not presented as accreditation from a UK professional body. If something falls outside my experience or professional scope, I seek appropriate guidance or recommend a more suitable professional rather than working beyond my training.
Clear boundaries are part of feeling safe
Regression hypnotherapy can involve personal memories, emotions, imagery and beliefs. My role is to support exploration, emotional processing and integration while staying within the limits of my training and professional role.
I do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe treatment, claim to cure a condition or promise a particular result. My work is complementary and is not a replacement for medical, psychological or psychiatric care.
I currently work only with adults aged 18 and over. Regression is not the right first step for every person or every situation. If someone is experiencing an acute mental health crisis, active suicidal thoughts, severe mental illness, active addiction or another situation requiring specialist assessment or treatment, I will encourage them to seek appropriately qualified support instead.
What clients share with me is treated as private and handled with care. I keep brief notes to support continuity between sessions and do not record a session without discussing it first and receiving the client's explicit consent. Clients are always free to decline recording without it affecting the session or the way I work with them.
You can read more about the principles that guide my work on the ethics and professional boundaries page.
Outside the session room
Outside work, I enjoy a fairly cosy but active life. I exercise regularly, and my partner and I try to spend our weekends taking long walks in the mountains or forests whenever we can.
I love knitting, reading and growing things. At the moment, that includes around 30 tomato plants, along with cucumbers and strawberries. I also enjoy games, especially The Sims and Hogwarts Legacy, as well as travelling and taking spontaneous trips with my partner.
I would love to adopt a cat one day. For now, the practical question of how a cat would fit around all those spontaneous trips means that plan is still waiting for its moment.
What clients say
Individual experiences, not promised outcomes
Public reviews can give you a sense of whether people felt heard, respected and comfortable while working with me. They reflect individual experiences and are not a promise that another person will have the same result.
What my clients say
Each session is a journey. Here are some of my clients experiences
AnnaThank you so much for the regression session - it was a very valuable experience for me. After the session, I felt whole, as if all the puzzle pieces had fallen into place. New insights and feelings are still coming to me. The most interesting part is that we worked with the topic of money, and the very next day I received an offer for a side job. I’m sure this was no coincidence 🤍
Not sure whether this is right for you?
You are welcome to book a free 30 minute introductory consultation. We can talk about what brought you here, what you would like to explore and any questions you have about my training, approach, safety or suitability.
There is no pressure to book a full session afterwards. The consultation gives both of us a chance to decide whether we feel comfortable working together and whether regression hypnotherapy feels like an appropriate next step for you.
Just as importantly, it gives you a chance to get a sense of me as a practitioner. This work can involve sharing very personal experiences, so I believe it matters that you feel comfortable with the person you choose to work with.
If I believe another kind of support would be more suitable, I will say so openly.
